As part of Environment & Climate pledge for the year 2023 onwards, Seahorse Engineering reached out to Mr. Örjan Lundberg, Sustainability Senior Manager, Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy to request technical guidance and support to our environmental endeavors. We are thankful and delighted to receive overwhelming assurance along with valuable technical guidance and reports like, WASTE MANAGEMENT; DUST MANAGEMENT: BEST PRACTICES FOR CONSTRUCTION SITES; FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Sustainable Stadiums, among others. He was also kind enough to connect us with several key stakeholders in Qatar who have similar visions and are doing remarkable work towards environment and humanity.
He appreciated our Environment & Climate Pledge 2023 and underlined, “It is unique to see such initiative coming up from a contractor’s side. We usually see such efforts from design and architecture companies. Great leadership and Good Luck!”
We aim to make most use of these knowledge along with our QHSE mandate to minimize disturbance to the local and global environment. We vow to comply fully with all relevant statutory regulations in this regard.
We understand that a small but significant effort must be taken now and as a construction company we are firm in this regard. We also welcome other stakeholders to join hands towards sustainability.
